| 1984-1999 |
OCS is established in the year 1984 as a technical manpower supply company to the offshore industry in India. Over the years OCS provides services to various drilling, production and process companies worldwide and develops into a Total Crew Management company.
Nortrans Group is founded in Singapore in 1982 and diversifies in 1985 into offshore floating production and mooring systems by owning, designing & operating FSO, FPSO, turret & mooring systems. In 1987 Nortrans establishes its office in Mumbai, primarily as a manning office and to support operations of vessels in and around the Indian subcontinent.

| 2000-2009 |
| OCS joins hands with Nortrans Offshore, with the prime objective of providing Total Crew Management and support services solutions to both Oil & Gas and Marine industries. Prosafe acquires Nortrans Offshore including its shares in OCS Services. |
| 2010 |
BW Offshore acquires Prosafe Production including its shares in OCS Services. BW Offshore is a leading global provider of floating production services to the oil and gas industry. With the acquisition of Prosafe Production, the company has become the world's second largest contractor with a fleet of 15 FPSOs and 2 FSOs represented in all major oil regions worldwide.
OCS Services operates through two divisions: Nortrans (Marine Services) that provides Total Crew Management and other support services to the Marine industry & OCS Oil & Gas Services that provides Total Crew Management, MRO and TCM services to the Oil & Gas industry.
